Orca killer whales. There are 4 in the group. They were training the young one the art of killing sea lions.

A mature whale breeched to land on the sea lion. Camera did not focus.

Training is apparently over.
Now the humpbacks.
After breathing at the surface they dive a few hundred feet for feeding.
Here we see one breathing and one diving.
The rest of the whale pictures are humpbacks.
Their flukes have unique markings.

Our whale watching boat captain was a researcher and has named this one Flame.
This whale is named Flame.
An incredible amount of water runs off the fluke.
