Comparison shots between these two lenses. Three inch square 3-bar targets on a 24" x 36" grid. Camera position adjusted to fill the frame for each focal length. Shots made on a tripod with 2 second timer. Lens auto focused on center target, image stabilization turned off. Processed in LR 2015 CC from RAW with only exposure adjustment. No sharpening applied. Images are 100% screen captures.
File name is code for target location: C 90 f56 means center target 90 m focal length at f/5.6. LL means lower left corner target, LL diagonal means target between center and corner on the diagonal at lower left, etc.
